On the other hand, Tabriz is a lovely young man who hopes to succeed in life. Tabriz’s parents, who live in the same locality, find Dur-e-Adan suitable for him as a life partner. But when Sumbul, who comes from an affluent family, falls in love with him, Tabriz’s life takes an unexpected turn. Tabriz neglects the gift of Dur-e-Adan for this world and the next in an endeavor to guarantee his financial future. The ambivalence and contradictory loyalties of Tabriz in the guise of greed quickly start to show in his interactions with Dur-e-Adan.
